Finally! Finally!, Top Nigerian actor Pete Edochie accepts role in Ghana movie after rejecting them for 18 years.
The Nigerian actor Pete Edochie has surprisingly accepted to appear in a Ghanaian movie production after turning down scripts from movie producers of the West African country for the past 18-years over issues of pedigree.
Edochie who came to limelight in the 1980’s when he played the lead role (Okonkwo) in the Nigerian Television Authorities adaptation of Chinua Achebe’s novel entitled “Things Fall Apart” revealed that much while speaking to newsmen in Ghana.
Explaining his acceptance to feature in a movie by Kofi Asamoah of Kofas Media, Edochie said he accepted to take part in the movie after turning down scripts from Ghana in the last 18-years because he believes the movie company in charge of production has a good standard and their script is matured.
Edochie said it was his first time in Ghana to shoot a movie after 18 years, disclosing that those who had earlier approached him to be part of their movie productions lacked pedigree and seemed not to know their onions.
